Founded in 1882, Matson is one of the leading U.S. carriers in the Pacific. Matson provides a vital lifeline to the island economies of Hawaii, Guam and Micronesia and premium, expedited service from China to Southern California. The company’s fleet of 17 vessels includes containerships, combination container and roll-on/roll-off ships and custom-designed barges. The company also provides container and chassis leasing services.

  • Matson Logistics, Inc.

    Established in 1987, Matson Logistics extends the geographic reach of Matson’s transportation network throughout the continental U.S. Its integrated, asset-light logistics services include rail intermodal, highway brokerage and warehousing.
  • Matson Terminals, Inc.

    Established in 1921, Matson Terminals provides container stevedoring, terminal, vessel husbanding and equipment maintenance services for Matson and third parties in Hawaii. SSAT, which is partly owned by Matson, manages Matson’s container stevedoring and terminal services on the West Coast.
