Matson, Matson Logistics Again Rated Among Industry's Best

Logistics Management Magazine and Peerless Research Group recently recognized Matson and Matson Logistics for outstanding performance in their annual Quest for Quality Awards. This is the tenth consecutive year that Matson has been ranked one of the top ocean carriers in the world.
The magazine’s 39th annual survey of buyers of transportation and logistics services (shippers) has long been considered the industry’s most prestigious measure of customer satisfaction and performance excellence. Matson and Matson Logistics were rated in the top five in their respective categories for service excellence across multiple criteria, including ontime performance, value, equipment and operations, information technology, and customer service.
“Matson is proud to be honored once again by Logistics Management Magazine,” said John Lauer, executive vice president and CCO. “The award is particularly meaningful as the magazine’s readers–our customers–vote on the recipients. To be one of the awardees this year, during a time of significant organic growth while in the midst of major supply chain disruption, is a great testament to the dedication of Matson’s entire organization.”
Matson Logistics won in the Intermodal Rail Service category out of a field of more than 55 logistics providers. It has been recognized seven times since 2013 and ranked in the highly competitive Transportation Solutions and Warehousing and Distribution categories in previous years.
“This award is especially gratifying, as we scored well above the weighted average of all eligible companies and ranked higher than competitors ten times our size,” said Keith Crenshaw, vice president of transportation for Matson Logistics.
