To be eligible for the Matson Logistics Freight Agent program, we look for a transferrable book of business of $500,000 in revenue or greater, a clean background check, and the ability to transition your agency without penalties from existing non-compete or non-solicitation agreements.
Nothing! Our program and policies are designed to support your success and profitability. That means no out-of-pocket costs for our Agents to use our load boards, proprietary technology, or back-office support. Everything is free with no withholdings whatsoever.
No. As a Matson Logistics Agent, you’re not required to create a bad debt reserve or pay escrow fees. We cover the cost of protecting our Agents from bad debt.
Granting credit is a key component of our commitment to our Agents. If a customer goes bankrupt, or becomes insolvent, there is no cost or chargeback to the Agent.
Our splits range anywhere from 60% to 70% for qualified Agents. In addition, we can be flexible in our agreement to allow for growth tiers or other incentives. We pay our Agents every Friday, based on the previous week’s invoiced loads.
