After 1933, Boat Day at Aloha Tower becomes an ongoing event, with the Royal Hawaiian Band welcoming passengers upon their arrival and bidding them aloha on their departure. The festivities, complete with streamers, leis and Hawaiian music, become a Honolulu tradition.
